Know the boundary

What this tool does—and what it does not.

Use page positions in the file, starting at 1, rather than printed page labels. Review the output order before sharing. Extraction does not remove confidential content within a selected page.

Extract PDF Pages FAQ

Before you start.

How is extraction different from splitting?

Extraction keeps selected pages in one new PDF. Split PDF creates multiple output files by groups or fixed page counts.

Can I choose non-consecutive pages?

Yes. Enter a selection such as 1–3,7,10.

Are the pages converted to images?

The tool copies PDF pages rather than intentionally rasterizing them.

Are printed page labels used?

No. Use the page position in the PDF, counting from the first page as 1.
