What this tool does—and what it does not.
Adding an image does not redact text underneath it. A stamp or seal image is not a certified digital signature or proof of authenticity. Only use images you are authorized to use.
Add Image to PDF FAQ
Before you start.
Can I cover sensitive text with an image?
An overlay is not secure redaction. Underlying content may remain in the PDF, so do not rely on this to remove confidential information.
Can I resize the image?
Yes. Adjust its position and size in the workspace before export.
Does a stamp image certify a document?
No. This tool places a visible image and does not verify its authority or create a digital certificate.
Are my PDF and image uploaded?
No. Both are processed locally in the browser.
