This adds a visible image. It does not provide certificate-backed digital signing, identity verification, a signing audit trail or tamper-evident certification. Check your recipient's requirements before using it.

Sign PDF with an Image FAQ

Before you start.

Is this a digital signature?

It is a visible signature image, not a cryptographic or certificate-backed digital signature.

Can I draw my signature?

Yes. Draw it in the signature interface, then place the resulting image on the PDF.

Will the recipient accept it?

Acceptance depends on the recipient and document requirements. Confirm those requirements; PDFbuff does not validate them.

Does PDFbuff receive my signature image?

The PDF tool processes the signature image and document locally in your browser.
